02:35.17 | pabs3 | mickeyl: no, there have been porting various distros to run on the application processor of phones for years now. perhaps you mean the modem. on the PinePhone there is the ARM application processor, running UI stuff on various distros, then there is the modem with two(?) processors, an ARM core running Linux and various services, and a Hexagon DSP, probably also running Linux (according to WikiPedia) that I assume does the radio stuff |
