21:20.35sixwheeledbeastok, so I have switched to using microb again for the first time in years. Is there a reason add bookmarks doesn't support portrait orientation  even though it's a option along the bottom, also it's a bit of a PITA that you can't access the top menu from the portrait UI.

21:32.57DocScrutinizer05never occurred to me to use microB in portrait
21:33.13bencohworks fine
21:33.40bencoheven though it keeps rotating when prompting for input (dialogs)
21:33.46DocScrutinizer05well, I have disabled portrait on "system level"
21:33.50bencoh(dialogs, menus, ...)
21:33.56bencohreally ?
21:34.04bencohit comes in handy sometimes
21:34.08DocScrutinizer05meh
21:35.02DocScrutinizer05comflicts with my Asperger
21:35.07DocScrutinizer05;-P
21:37.02bencohah :)
21:37.13DocScrutinizer05sixwheeledbeast: microB GUI is closed, so nobody ever took care about adapting it to portrait
21:38.54sixwheeledbeastDocScrutinizer05: well I never knew it was closed. In fact I am stunned to here that
21:39.36DocScrutinizer05engine is FOSS, GUI is closed
21:39.59DocScrutinizer05>>differentiation<<   >:-(
21:40.12DocScrutinizer05~closed
21:40.12infoboti heard closed is http://wiki.maemo.org/Why_the_closed_packages or https://wiki.maemo.org/Fremantle_closed_packages
21:40.27sixwheeledbeastMicroB in portrait is useful, in fact to cause a huge debate the whole device is very useful in portrait orientation.
21:40.57sixwheeledbeastespecially know it can be locked in either direction

21:42.02DocScrutinizer05https://wiki.maemo.org/Fremantle_closed_packages/MaemoBrowser
21:44.49DocScrutinizer05tries hard to make sense of >>*Not critical (if you really don't have /etc/X11/Xsession.post/tablet-browser-daemon trying to start browserd and reboot when fails)<<
21:45.04DocScrutinizer05how's that not critical?
21:45.30DocScrutinizer05also doesn't sound like a correct sentence to me
21:46.03DocScrutinizer05hmm, maybe now it starts to make sense
21:46.36DocScrutinizer05anyway removing browserd from fremantle breaks more than just web browsing - definitely
21:48.35DocScrutinizer05wow, wtf? https://wiki.maemo.org/index.php?title=Fremantle_closed_packages/MaemoBrowser&action=history
21:52.06DocScrutinizer05hmm, sth been fux0red by my not being logged in (and even after logging in it offered me to create a new account??)
21:54.05DocScrutinizer05anyway nobody would even *want* to remove browserd from system. What for?
22:03.05sixwheeledbeasthmm, I wonder this package does http://maemo.org/packages/view/Installed-Size:/
22:03.41sixwheeledbeastthere seems to be a good few of these from a quick search
22:11.48DocScrutinizer05awesome hiccup
22:12.03DocScrutinizer05http://maemo.org/packages/package_instance/view/fremantle_root_pr1-2_armel/Installed-Size:/92/

22:24.28sixwheeledbeastbut it's not just one hiccup http://maemo.org/packages/repository/list/fremantle_root_pr1-2_armel/ there's four on the first page :S
22:27.57DocScrutinizer05well, what can I say? Or do?
22:29.35DocScrutinizer05I mean, seems like that's a quite "historical" event/issue
22:29.49DocScrutinizer05pr1.2
22:34.37DocScrutinizer05and/deal
22:34.45DocScrutinizer05A/library
22:35.16DocScrutinizer05sth been messed up and injected rubbish into the repo
22:37.09DocScrutinizer05or rather into the package interface, which not necessarily is related to what's in repo
22:37.32DocScrutinizer05midgard, oh my
22:38.14DocScrutinizer05you probably have no idea of the amount of rubbish you can find in that
