19:03.42parahumanoidhi to all.  Is this the right place to ask about recovery procedures?  I have a boot loop problem.
19:13.42Sicelo<PROTECTED>
19:13.59Sicelowhat led to the bootloop?
19:16.53parahumanoidhere's the description: http://pastebin.com/edA6VEM6
19:19.27parahumanoidThe reason I asked it here is because I read it somewhere that a misbehaving widget can be causing this (I'm allowing for such possibility since I never made full rootfs-optfs-mydocs backups where all three filesystems were in accordance, so a logical inconsistency may have been introduced).  I also did have CSSU installed as of the backup in question.
19:21.30merlin1991hm parahumanoid the addressbook.db is probably sqlite
19:22.56parahumanoidso I heard that it's sqlite3.  However, a tool I found for editing sqlite db's didn't recognize it as such.  What tool do you use?
19:24.06parahumanoidThis is the one I used: http://sourceforge.net/projects/sqlitebrowser/?source=dlp
19:24.14parahumanoidDidn't pan out.
19:27.45merlin1991hm odd
19:27.57merlin1991did you try with the sqlite command line tool aswell?
19:31.59Sicelowhat is path of addressbook.db btw?

19:34.10parahumanoidhmm.  According to this (http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=59384), it's a Berkley-DB file.

19:36.02freemangordon_merlin1991: parahumanoid: AFAIk it is berkeley db
19:37.07freemangordonparahumanoid: there should be some BDB tools .deb in the repo
19:38.07parahumanoidfreemangordon, can you please recommend a user-friendly tool for browsing the data?  Kind of like what myphpadmin does for mysql dbs.  There's lots of stuff there and I'd like to be able to export it into something palpable that can later make its way into vcards or csv.
19:38.48freemangordonparahumanoid: I am not aware of any tool you can use to browse the data, be it user friendly or not :)
19:39.24freemangordonparahumanoid: use Nokia PC Suite to export the address book
19:40.20parahumanoidHow?  The device is a brick.  All I have is this addressbook.db file to deal with.  As I can tell, I won't be able to restore to the backup image and will have to start from vanilla.
19:41.47parahumanoid<Sicelo>: sorry, didn't notice your question.  The path is /user/.osso-abook/db/addressbook.db
19:41.50freemangordonparahumanoid: wouldn;t it be easier to fix that bootloop?
19:42.06freemangordonparahumanoid: BTW lets move to #maemo
19:42.51parahumanoidI'm already there.  leaving this channel.  <Sicelo>, thank you for pitching in.
