13:29.49MonMothashoot...I don't remember what movs does...
13:30.00MonMothaI presume sets up some sort of predicate for beq?
13:30.07pb_move and set the flags
13:30.17MonMothaok, well there's your ARM ASM expert :)
13:30.22prpplaguehehe
13:30.23pb_in that context, it tests whether the top 28 bits are all zero or not
13:30.31prpplaguepb_: its the movs line that i don't understand
13:31.20pb_prpplague: it shifts r1 right by four bits, putting zeros in the top, then sets the status flags according to the result.
13:31.39*** join/#elinux chouimat|ibook (~dieu@H214.C78.B0.tor.eicat.ca)
13:31.52prpplaguepb_: ok so we are doing an or between r1 and the proc_lh7a400_type then doing a check to see the result
13:31.53pb_that operation can never yield a negative number, so the only real effect is to set the Z flag if the result is all zero, and clear it otherwise.
13:32.11pb_prpplague: exclusive or, yeah.
13:32.31pb_so, basically, it's testing for equality between r1 and the value at proc_lh7a400_type, but ignoring the low four bits.
13:33.03prpplaguepb_: ok so, then its doing a branch on equal 1f
13:34.58prpplagueok so 1f is the offset address
13:37.12prpplaguepb_ / MonMotha thanks
13:41.32pb_prpplague: yah, 1f is the branch target.
13:42.10prpplaguepb_: there isn't a label 1f so its got to be an offset right?
13:42.26pb_prpplague: there should be a label "1"
13:42.35pb_1f means "next occurrence of 1, looking forwards"
13:42.54prpplaguepb_: ahh
