00:50.42mstoccosyntax: what is the goal with the modems?
00:51.31syntaxAll I want is to wire my house.. 1 Analog line in(maybe 2 someday) and 3 or 4 extesions
00:52.13syntaxthe X100P card looks 99% identical to the 56 HFC Modem I have sitting here in front of me..

00:57.06jensdsyntax: X100P entitles you to support also ;-) - other modem then you are on your own... (and you also contribute to asterisk by buying from them)
00:58.38syntaxThat's all good... If it work I will purchase a card from digium.. I just want to test it out first.

01:02.52bkw_wreckdiver use type=friend on both ends
01:03.02bkw_its telling you... you don't have a matching peer entry
01:03.08wreckdiverbkw, that's set?
01:03.09bkw_so either use friend= or user/peer both
01:03.18bkw_you have to have user and peer on both ends
01:03.22bkw_for trunking to work
01:03.28bkw_or type=friend on both ends for it to work
01:03.56wreckdiverbkw, one end's a peer, the other a user and vice versa?

01:20.20mstoccowhat am I doing wrong with this syntax? exten => s,2,GotoIf($[${DNIS} = 1010]?myqueue,s,1:)

01:27.03mstoccosytnax: you will need a card that provides battery power on the line to drive the phones, the win modem, I don't think will cut it
01:28.12mstoccosyntax: you could, since this is a new home, wire w/ cat 5 and use sip phones (very cool)
